Every summer, some 150 auto and motorcycle enthusiasts head to Pikes Peak in Colorado to race to the top. Mitsubishi i-MiEV To Be Rented By Hertz

The soon to be released Mitsubishi i EV, based off the i-MiEV over in Japan, will be rented out by Hertz rental car corp. - at least over in the UK.

Car giant Hertz is going to be adding the battery powered vehicle to its UK fleet. At first, it will only be offered to customers who are part of the "Connect by Hertz" car-sharing club.

British Government offers Grant to Mitsubishi iMiev Drivers

The British Government recently made the Plug-In Car Grant (PICG) effective, offering 25 percent of the worth of a sub-75 g/km car up to the maximum amount of five thousand pounds. Three days later, Mitsubishi announced an assortment of special payment plans for its all-electric i-MiEV, which qualifies for the government's grant funds.

Mitsubishi Hopes for All Electric Line-Up
