The British Government recently made the Plug-In Car Grant (PICG) effective, offering 25 percent of the worth of a sub-75 g/km car up to the maximum amount of five thousand pounds. Three days later, Mitsubishi announced an assortment of special payment plans for its all-electric i-MiEV, which qualifies for the government's grant funds.

The 2012 Mitsubishi I (the American version of the i-MiEV) is the first in a long line of what Mitsubishi hopes to be an all electric line up.
