Mitsubishi has confirmed a plug-in hybrid SUV is under development, and could reach markets around 2013. The new Mitsubishi SUV hybrid version will be made of the next-generation Mitsubishi Outlander, and that version of its new powertrain will go into a next-generation Lancer Evolution.
Yoshikazu Nakamura, Mitsubishi's GM of electric vehicles, told Automotive News that the "final product will be similar to the PX-MiEV concept shown at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show." The show…
