Mitsubishi Releases Geneva Teaser Image

The Geneva Motor Show is fast approaching! Here at Firkin's Mitsubishi, we really can't wait. Mitsubishi has confirmed that they plan to launch an all-new model at the show, and they've even released a teaser image.

What's it look like? Well, it's got headlights. And that's really all we can see, so far. But if they released an image showing the car in its entirety, we'd have nothing to be excited about, would we?

Here's what we can confirm (besides a darkened image of the vehicle's front grille): Mitsubishi has big plans to produce a new range of crossovers and SUVs, with a focus on efficiency. A recent press release says, "This re-focused design language, while still being formulated, is envisaged as an open design concept, meant to be flexible enough to suit specific vehicle requirements...Refined yet assertive, this new engineering-driven look can be understood as the new expression of Mitsubishi's near century old tradition of technology tailored for today's world."1

The press release goes on to say that the model will be a part of a new generation of products from Mitsubishi. The company is calling this initiative their "Jump 2013" plan, which includes an emphasis on design language, EV technology, crossover styling, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

This upcoming model doesn't even have a name yet! So be sure to stay tuned with Firkin's Mitsubishi to learn more about it after it debuts in March. Can't wait that long for a new Mitsubishi?
